A professionally organized and managed fishing tournament to raise  money to help children's programs in southern Hillsborough County, Florida.  The three programs selected for this year's tournament are all run by 501(c)-3 organizations.
 These programs include the Out of School Time programs administered by the Rural Social Services Partnership, the mentoring programs of the SouthShore Rotary Foundation and YMCA's Camp Cristina.

Thursday May 10, 2012 

4– 6 pm - Children's Tournament an opportunity for children to learn about fishing from the dock.  Limited to 60 children aged 6 - 12.  Registration includes fishing and other fun activities.  $10.00 per child accompanied by an adult $15.00 for  for two children with one adult.

7 – 10 pm – Dinner with the captains and anglers. The event includes meal, entertainment and a silent auction.  Individual tickets available for $50.00

Entry fee includes team tickets to Thursday's Captains Dinner with entertainment and silent auction; Friday's tournament includes your team's trip with a professionally licensed captain, boat, fishing equipment, meals, tournament bag, and awards dinner.

Our lead Captain is Danny Guarino. Danny Has lived and fished the Tampa area his entire life. In the mid 1990's he decided to make Tampa fishing his career.  He specializes in flats fishing trips that are packed with action.  He's a member of the Florida Guides association as well as the National Association of Charter Boat Operators and the Coastal Conservation Association. In 2005 he became a board member for the Florida Guides Association and pro staff member for Lee Fisher Nets. In 2006 he received an appointment as a Regional Director for the Florida Guide Association. He is professionally licensed by the United States Coast Guard and on the recommended guide list for Capt. Mel Berman. He is proudly sponsored and belong to the pro staff team for Canyon Bay Boats, Precision Tackle, K9 Fishing DOA Lure and Tampa Fishing Outfitters.  In March of 2008 he co-founded, and now co-hosts the Tampa Fishing Outfitters Radio Show that airs on CBS Sports 1010am each Saturday morning from 7:00am to 9:00am.  You can contact Danny directly at  813-956-2010.
